He first entered the media industry in 2011 as part of the founding team of a software company for social media marketing. After selling the company to DuMont, he managed the advertising business at XING for two years and then surprisingly took over MOPO exactly 10 days before the first coronavirus lockdown.

As VP Business Development, Tom Rother leads the sales department of the DACH region of the world’s leading affiliate marketing network CJ. Prior to joining CJ in 2019, Tom developed and executed digital marketing strategies for leading global and national companies such as Telefonica, Accenture and Medion. He is an accomplished sales manager and has many years of experience in the global environment of digital marketing solutions and technologies.
